Your First Chiropractic Visit
When you first arrive, you will be greeted by our reception staff who will make you comfortable. You will be asked to complete a form relating to your medical history. Then, you will be met by your chiropractor and shown to a private consultation room, where you will be asked questions about the reason of your visit and a discussion about the general background of your medical history. We do this so that we have the necessary information to enable us to make the correct diagnosis.
A very thorough physical examination is then carried out which will includes the spine, relevant joints, muscles, ligaments, and the nervous system.
When a case is deemed suitable for chiropractic treatment, the chiropractor will formulate a treatment plan to discuss with you. This plan will include the frequency and cost of treatment along with home exercises and lifestyle advice.
The chiropractor will explain her findings and tell you what is wrong, why it has gone wrong, and what we are going to do to make you better.
Once we have answered any questions or concerns, we will be able to commence your treatment.
Spinal Thermographic Scan
Our technologically advanced Tytron thermographic spinal scan accurately scans the full spine or segmental parts of the spine in approximately 15 seconds.
It allows you to visually see and understand the muscle imbalances that are in the spine. The Tytron detects areas of asymmetry and indicates areas with greater temperatures due to acute soft tissue damage.
It's a non-invasive diagnostic tool that uses infrared temperature sensors that emits no harmful radiation.

The number of visits we recommend to you depends on the nature of your problem. If you have only had an issue for a couple of months, it may clear up quickly. If, however, it has been years, it may take longer to resolve.
